As the seasons progress, we harvest whatever vegetables we have grown for that year.
To date there has been new potatoes, earlies and lates, broad beans, runner beans and tomatoes. Each year there may be something added or taken away depending on what has grown the best.
Our chickens lay their eggs on a regular basis and there are a mixture of sizes as we have bantams as well as the usual sized chickens.
The bees will be 'doing their stuff ' starting in the spring, bringing in the nectar from the vast variety of plants and flowers grown here and abouts, to make the honey which is individual to the area. It is pale in colour and light in texture and it is harvested as and when the bees have filled the hives fit to burst.
